📰 Student Walks Paper to Basket, Immediately Checks Grade
Teacher demands to know when he had time to grade paper.
After getting help from the teacher, local student Bridger walked his paper to the basket and immediately opened his Chromebook.
The Honest School Times was there for the following, historic exchange.
“Hey! We don’t need our Chromebooks right now. What are you doing?" his teacher asked.
"Checking my grade," Bridger said.
"For which class?"
"This one."
"I don't understand. What grade are you checking."
"The assignment I just turned in."
“The assignment you just turned in? Like, thirty seconds ago?”
“Yeah, what’s the problem?”
"When did I have time to grade it?" his teacher demanded.
Students became spectators and listened in.
Bridger raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean?"
"I literally helped you on the paper less than sixty seconds ago,” his teacher started. “When did I have time to collect the paper, grade the paper, sit at my computer, and input the grade online?”
All conversations stopped.
“I’m still standing by your desk. How could I have possibly graded your paper in thirty seconds? Do you think it’s all magic?”
Both teacher and student stared at each other, incredulous.
Amazing. Simply amazing.
