📰 Local School Uses AI Grief Counselors After TikTok Ban
"Why not? We already had a chatbot subscription."

In the wake of the TikTok Ban, one local school has turned to unlikely help with mourning students: Artificial Intelligence.
“It just seemed like the best thing to do,” said Vice Principal Jacob Jacobson.
“We already had the subscription for a tutoring chatbot. So why not ask the AI to play counselor? It didn’t cost any extra.”
Administrators say affected students will report to the library where they will login and converse with the chatbot.
The Honest School Times spoke with several students ahead of the counseling sessions.
“How can they shut down TikTok? Like, what the skibidi? What the actual Ohio? What if I have a question? What do I have to use… Google? That’s for Boomers!” said one student who wishes to remain anonymous.
“Don’t forget, my name’s Bridger!” he exclaimed. Our bad.
We asked Juniper, 17, how her grief counseling session went.
“So, like, I’m not sure it worked. The AI kept asking why I don’t just brush my teeth if I’m worried about Tic Tac’s being banned. I don’t have bad breath,” she said, cupping her hands and smelling her breath.
When The Honest School Times asked if she misspelled TikTok, she just glared.
Teacher Grumpy Gus gave his usual sour note.
“It’s all artificial intelligence you ask me—the cheesy videos, the lip synching, the terrible dancing. Using a computer to console people about a computer program shutting down. Pathetic! Maybe the kids will learn to read now.”
What a sourpuss!
