I can’t think of a better way for students or any of us to get better at writing than to write consistently. Keeping it fresh for students seems like the key!

I do the whole lugging notebooks home thing sometimes and it suuuuuucks. Must try your grading :)
You're a brave soul! Grading in class took some adjustment, but once you carve out the time, the individualized feedback is nice.
